To help jog your memory of the literal & visual definitions of the Elements of Art you are going to create an info-graphic resource to go into your sketchbook.


Step No.5:
Using the value scale template provided, use graphite to demonstrate the shading technique, BLENDING, by creating a value scale with 7 ranges of values. Then cut & paste onto the LEFT FLAP. (Do not cut & paste before you shade!)
Step No.6:
Using the value scale template provided, use pink, black & white to demonstrate the shading technique, BLENDING, by creating a value scale with a shade, hue, & tint. Then cut & paste onto the RIGHT FLAP.

Then cut each strip out. The strip with graphite needs to be glued into the left, inside flap and label it ‘VALUE SCALE”.
For the other strip, glue it into the right, inside flap and label it “VALUE with color”.
