You have a choice for this sketchbook assignment between either
1. METAMORPHOSIS or 2. a HYBRID!
REQUIREMENTS:
- BE ORIGINAL! You must show your own thinking – start by brainstorming with a written list of ideas and then start @ LEAST 4 THUMBNAIL sketches of your ideas! DO NOT COPY anything from the internet!
- COMPOSITION:
- Metamorphosis-
- 2 page-spread *you can have more negative space and spread out the transformations/transitions
- if you have a sketchbook smaller than 9″x12″, you are required to fill the 2 page-spread to about 85%
- Hybrid-
- 1 page-spread *must use 85% of your paper
- if you have a sketchbook smaller than 9″x12″, you are required to complete a 2 page spread

Mix 2 animals together to create a new species!
